They've been stripped, washed, stripped again, sanded, sanded and sanded. Poly'ed, washed and poly'ed again! Saturday is the last coat. Then the couch can finally leave the kitchen. Here is the before and during, the after is yet to come...
This is by far the worst part of it. Plus the hallway is where we had to scrape the carpet underlay off the floor. The living room and dining room had some scratches and lines, from waxing around area rugs! who is that lazy?
Even Cash is disgusted at the sight!
Here we are part way through. I think this was after the last sand, before any finish.

The new programmable thingy wil be installed this weekend. We couldn't get to, literally, for the last week and a half.
